  1. What a fabulous post and what a fantastic blog ! I have been following your blog for some time now, though have never commented till now. am inspired to do something like what you have done.

May I add you to my blog roll?

    • Sure. Add my site to your blog roll. I wonder how you came across my site. Through search engines perhaps?

I visited your site. Most impressed by your post on Kabir. Had I been in Mumbai, I would have attended. I too had read his couplets in school but lost touch for years now.

  2. I can’t really remember how I came across your site. Perhaps via Stumble Upon. Just added you to my blog roll. Thanks.

  3. amazing site. excellent info. made me think about my beautiful country

  4. Its a fantastic journey though, I think there is more to be added to this blog..eg the monuments of Bijapur in Karnataka.

  5. Indeed as Salim mentions, Bijapur has many beautiful monuments. Unfortunately in the early days of my travel I didn’t take a camera with me. But you can read about Bijapur at: https://indianjourneys.wordpress.com/2008/12/18/an-islamic-revelation-bijapur/

  6. Dear friend
I am in search of a masjid of which I only have a pic. I fell in love the moment I saw it and have been asking people around … with no success. Would it be possible that you share your email id with me so that I can share the pic with you? If you know details, it would be brilliant!
    Thanks, Deepa.

  7. Most of the buildings you have shown in the web here look like previous Hindu/Jain/Budhist buildings, palaces or temples. Please provide their historyes along with the photos.

    • It’s possible that some monuments have been converted from temples and palaces. But I am not a historian, just a traveller. Perhaps someone who knows about these monuments can comment.

  8. Lovely compilation of fotos. Well done
